Step
4: Visit
our website and download each chapter of Low-Risk Driving - a
skill for life as your personal guidebook. Please respect
copyright laws - limited downloads for personal use only.
You will find that
we have covered many road safety aspects, well beyond the basic
driving techniques (night driving, high-speed cornering, etc
etc.) Remember - passing the driving test is only the
beginning.
Learning to drive
continues long after you start driving on your own. Our website has
plenty of interesting, informative material to keep you stimulated
to want to become a skilful, competent driver.
After passing the
theory test you will receive a license to learn to drive. You will be
allowed to drive on
Learner-plates,
with a supervising person beside you.
Step 5:
Where available, we recommend you first take
some lessons with a professional driving instructor. You won’t
learn wrong habits from a family member or friend and have a better
chance to pass the driving test first time. Be sure what you are
taught corresponds with our guidelines.
Passing the driving
test will allow you to drive on your own under certain conditions.
You will drive on red/white P-Plates.
In some states you will need to undergo a further test to progress
to green/white P-Plates.
