B.19   LONG VEHICLES NEED SPACE

Motor vehicle crashes often occur when two drivers make mistakes - at the same time and place. In this incident a truck turned unexpectedly.

< This large Semi-trailer could not turn right into the side road, except commencing from the left-hand lane. The truck driver did not anticipate an overtaking motor car in the right-hand lane.

The unfortunate motorist in the car ignored the truck's right indicator.

Both drivers share the blame for this mishap.
